How does the Central Air Conditioner Works?

In the summer, after spending time in the heat, when you come to your room and you feel the cooling effect, you feel like you came to heaven. We all know this feeling. Air Conditioners are a blessing for us. They provide luxurious cooling so we can rest in utmost peace. Now AC is a must for everyone especially in the global warm environment. It can prevent you from the heat wave and offer you relaxation. But have you noticed how this great machine works???  You have to know so you can get the idea while buying the air conditioner also while maintenance you must know the function of AC Parts. So you can tell the technician what happened to your Air conditioner.

Most of the Ac work you can do yourself but you have to pay AC technicians to do this minimal work and it costs you money without any reason. Knowledge is the blessing. No one can cheat you if you have knowledge about Air Conditioners. The function of the Air Conditioner is simple. But this simple machine can do wonders because of some parts.  We will provide you with brief information on how the central air conditioner works, so you get the general idea.

Function of Central Air Conditioner

The Central Air Conditioner consumes the vents to suck the hot air from the surroundings and cools it down through the compressor and provides this cool air to your room. You must have seen the outer of the Air conditioner. This Outer has a condenser, which sucks the hot air to collect and provide it to the vents. Also, it vent out the hot air from the air conditioner.  Compressor plays the important part to provide the cold air in your room. It applies the positive pressure on the Freon (refrigerant gas) to run into the coils. Hot air also channels into the coils through the condenser fans to cool it off. When the hot air becomes chill it blows back into the vents so they can enter into your room. This is the continuous process until the achieving of the desired temperature. In the Traditional Central Air Conditioner compressor turn off and in the inverter compressor go to the hibernating mode.

Functions of AC Parts

Evaporator

The function of Evaporator is to cool the coils and also it removes the heat and humidity from the air through refrigerants

Blower

A Blower or Circulating fan is responsible to lure the air into the evaporator. It also disperses the air for the efficient cooling process.

Condenser

Condenser is also an integral part of the air conditioning system. Hot coils release the temperature, condensers let out all the heat from the system.

Compressor

Compressor comes between the Evaporator and Condenser. Compressor pumps the refrigerant (Freon Gas) to cool the air.

Fan

Fan generally placed on the top of the compressor. When the condenser throws the heat air into the compressor then left out air goes out through the fan.

Thermostat

Thermostat is the control system which regulates the amount of cool air. Thermostat is also responsible to determine whether AC should go off or hibernate.

Filters

Filters catch all the allergens and dust particles from the air. It is responsible to give you the fresh air. Good filter can catch up to 0.3 microns of pollutants.
