Humidifier FAQ
How Humidifier works????
As we all know, humidifiers remove the dryness from the air, but how??? This is the most common question. The answer to this question is somewhat tricky because there are many types of humidifier in the market. Humidifiers basically add humidity in the air. Most common humidifier adds humidity through the steam. We call it “Steam Humidifier.” This is the simplest humidifier in which water boils and then steam makes the air humid. But this is not an efficient way to humid the air because you cannot control the quantity and also you cannot distribute the steam manually. The second one is Evaporative Humidifiers which is the efficient and most humidifier with the machine and wet filter which is responsible to spread the humidity throughout the room. Third is Ultrasonic Humidifier which is also an efficient way of producing humidity. Ultrasonic humidifiers vibrate the disc at ultrasonic frequency for the creation of the water droplets. These droplets will humid the air. If you want the technical picture then this picture will help you understand.
What are the main benefits of Humidifiers???
Humidifier is beneficial in the dry environment. As we stated before, humidification is a very good prospect for asthma patients. Asthma patients need a balanced environment and complete dryness can cause respiratory illness. Good Humidifier makes sure to reduce the possibility of an asthma attack by providing fresh air. It also prevents skin agitation and also the itchiness of the eye due to dryness.
What are Whole-house Humidifiers???
Whole house humidifiers are part of the HVAC system. It is often merged with the air conditioner or gas furnace to infuse the conditioned air with moisture. The collaborated device will circulate the air throughout the room or in the house. There are three types of whole house humidifiers. Bypass Humidifier is installed on the bypass duct at the furnace. Furnace fan motor pushed the humidity through the water panel to ‘bypass the whole house humidifier’. The second humidifier type is fan powered house humidifiers with the fan which spread the humidity through the fan. The last but not the least is the steam based water heat humidifier which produces the humidity in the ducts to pass the humidity with the air conditioning air.
Can you tell us about the merits and demerits of humidification????
Most people go for the merit first but here I will tell you about the demerits of the humidification first. Humidifiers basically add the humid through the liquid. If the liquid gets dirty then the humidifier will evaporate the dirty water or any other liquid to the air. Means you are inhaling the dirt. So the lesson from this point is, you should make sure that the water or any other liquid is clean in the humidifier.
The second point is merit and demerit also. Yes, humidifiers can remove the humidification but the problem is, excessive humidification can cause trouble for the asthma patients and also carries so many risks regarding the health. So the level of humidification must be monitored and prevent the dampening environment.
Now come towards the benefits. There are many benefits of humidification. Humid air prevents the influenza. Yes, you read it right; humidity above 40 percent deactivated the virus particles. If you have the cough or flu most of the people say that take the steam. But with the help of a humidifier you are taking continuous minimal steam.
If your partner is weary of your habit of snoring and you are living in the dry place then humidifiers can reduce your habit of snoring. Taking a breath in the dry place causes the contraction in the air. Humidity can relieve it and also can relieve some symptoms.
We all know that dry and itchy skin sucks. Also, in the dry condition our hairs seem like lifeless. Through the humidity we can get rid of the dryness of the skin so our skin can glow perfectly and also humidification provides life to our hairs.
