The DC cord is sufficient, but I had to pull the air pump through the driver's side for the two left tires and then move it through the front passenger's side for the two right tires. Other than that, it's a great device that I would recommend to ensure your tires are well inflated. It also comes with attachments for basketball and bike tire inflation, which is a nice little bonus.
