Description
Extreme heat within compressors typically causes failure of wiring insulation. This can cause corrosion to the inner strands of copper within the wire used for compressor hook-up. This reduces the power flow to the compressor causing the unit to overheat and can prevent the compressor from starting. A MINIMUM of 12in. of wire must be removed. The DiversiTech Replacement Compressor Leads are ideal for replacing this corroded wiring. 24in. leads also available for replacing wire all the way to the contactor and capacitor.
